Fast Forward Flashback 2017

Guests were swept off their feet again for a dazzling night of 1950s entertainment, held at New Venture Theatre! We raised £2018 for Gladrags and have already started putting that to good use: funding the last portion of our Sew-Easy skill-building sessions at Coombe Road School, and running a ‘What We Wore’ dress-up session with the 50 + Young at Heart group at The Bridge Community Centre in Moulsecoomb!

A HUGE thanks to all who made the event magical, be it through performance and other exciting contributions, by setting up the event and running it, or by coming along and gifting us both your funds and your delightful company. We look forward to seeing you and your friends for more fun next year!

The Gladrags 21st Birthday Charity Event – We did it! We loved it! So did everyone else!

We raised a grand total of £2105 which ensured we were able to honour our commitment to running 21 creative projects and events to communities in deprived areas of Sussex!!

“We had so much fun with props and costumes, and having my hair and make-up done, I felt so treated. It was so original, I can’t wait for the next one as there’s nothing else similar in Brighton.” Chele Verrechie (2nd from right), Fast Forward Flashback 2015.
