Fast Forward Flashback 2018!

Guests were swept off their feet again, with a magical evening of 1920’s entertainment, held at The New Venture Theatre! It was a night of flapper fabulous fun and we raised £2800, which will ensure we can reach more schools and community groups, experiencing disadvantage with subsidised costume hire.

Our lovely guests were captured in all their 1920’s glam in our very own Wardrobe Of Wonders! A unique dress up experience, guests were styled with the help of our talented W.O.W stylists Sarah-Mary, Anna and Maisie. Photos were taken by the amazing Helen Bonnick on the night.

A HUGE thanks to everyone who contributed be it by setting up the event and running it, or by coming along and gifting us both your funds and your delightful company. Further thanks to…  kitty boo cropped

Fast Forward Flashback 2017

Guests were swept off their feet again for a dazzling night of 1950s entertainment, held at New Venture Theatre! We raised £2018 for Gladrags, helping us to fund the projects we run within communities experiencing disadvantage and contributing specifically to the following:

  • Sew-Easy skill-building workshops across six weeks, with children with special educational and emotional needs at Moulsecoomb Primary School and Coombe Road School
  • A ‘What We Wore’ dress-up day and three memorabilia-lead reminiscence sessions with the 50 + Young at Heart group at The Bridge Community Centre
  • Three Storybox sessions, bringing interactive story-making and role-play to children attending Chomp Club, the lunch club for families struggling to feed everyone at home during the school holidays

A HUGE thank you to all who made the event magical, be it through performance and other exciting contributions, by setting up the event and running it, or by coming along and gifting us both your funds and your delightful company. We look forward to seeing you and your friends for more fun next year!

“We had so much fun with props and costumes, and having my hair and make-up done, I felt so treated. It was so original, I can’t wait for the next one as there’s nothing else similar in Brighton.” Chele Verrechie (2nd from right), Fast Forward Flashback 2015.
